What is Diamond Glow®?
Diamond Glow® is a next-level non-invasive, skin-resurfacing treatment. It uses a diamond tip that gently exfoliates the skin to remove dead skin cells, extracts debris from pores and other impurities, while infusing a medical-grade serum when your pores are open and most receptive. This patented technology exfoliates, extracts, and infuses serum simultaneously and the results are both immediate and long lasting.
What medical grade serums do we offer?
- SkinMedica® TNS® Advanced+ Pro-Infusion Serum: Advanced growth factor technology to support your skin’s natural rejuvenation process, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, and overall skin tone and texture. This is our choice for anti-aging effects.
- SkinMedica® HA⁵® Pro-Infusion Serum: Contains five forms of hyaluronic acid to hydrate instantly, visibly plump, and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This is our most popular and universal serum. This serum provides the flexibility of doing a series of treatments, or can be done as a stand-alone treatment.
- SkinMedica® Even & Correct Advanced Brightening Serum: Features exclusive LTN Complex™ plus exfoliating glycolic and phytic acids to help correct the appearance of hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Acne breakouts, hyper- and hypopigmentation issues are also best addressed with a series of 3-6 sessions. We find that consistency is key in creating a more even skin tone.
- SkinMedica® Vitamin C Pro-Infusion Serum: Provides a deep dose of antioxidants to rejuvenate and protect the skin while promoting age-defying results.
- SkinMedica® Pore Clarifying Pro-Infusion Serum: Powerfully addresses imperfections, promoting clearer skin. We find most patients need a series of 3-6 sessions to reduce pore congestion and breakout frequency. This can be an exciting treatment for teenage patients!
What happens during the appointment?
Our aestheticians will do a complimentary consultation to discuss your skincare goal to select the best serum for you. The procedure includes cleansing the skin, use of the machine, calm the skin down with a nutrient mask, and finishes with the application of an antioxidant, hydrating serum, and SPF. The Diamond Glow treatment can also be added to one of our chemical peels which gives us the opportunity to create the most effective and customized treatment for each patient. They may also recommend a new regimen to best complement your Diamond Glow result!
Once the treatment is completed our patients will experience a smoothness of the skin surface and may also feel tingling sensation and redness which tends to dissipate after about an hour. The skin will look brighter, less congested or puffy, and overall healthier. Results last for about a week after one treatment and can be lengthened by several weeks when done as a series. There are some contraindication prior to the treatment which our aestheticians will discuss with you prior to scheduling.
